Gnu Barrett

The Gnu Barrett is designed for intermediate to advanced riders. Its traditional camber profile and responsive carbon construction demand a certain level of technical skill to fully appreciate, making it less forgiving for someone just learning the basics.

The directional shape is optimized for riding forward, offering better stability and float in powder compared to a true twin board. While you can still ride switch, it is engineered primarily for directional performance and carving across the entire mountain.

Magne-Traction acts like a serrated knife edge, adding multiple contact points along the sidecut. This provides significantly better edge hold on hard-packed snow and ice, giving you more confidence and control when conditions get firm.

Traditional camber is known for being energetic and stable at speed, rather than twitchy. While it requires more precision than a rocker profile, it provides a reliable, locked-in feel that excels when you are carving hard or hitting jumps.

These bands are integrated into the board to add 'pop' and snap without adding significant weight. They make the board feel more lively underfoot, helping you initiate turns quickly and providing extra energy when popping off features.
