Thanks to the AMERICOAT® Plus non-stick coating, you generally do not need to grease or flour the pan. However, for recipes with high sugar content or very sticky batters, a light coating of oil or butter can provide extra insurance for a clean release.

The fluted panel design serves two purposes: it increases the structural integrity of the pan to prevent warping and improves airflow around the base of the loaf for a more even bake and a crispier crust.

It is best to avoid using metal utensils, as they can scratch or damage the non-stick silicone coating over time. We recommend using silicone, wood, or nylon tools to ensure the longevity of the pan's surface.

While the pan is durable, hand washing with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge is recommended to preserve the integrity of the non-stick coating. Dishwasher detergents can be abrasive and may shorten the lifespan of the AMERICOAT® finish.

This pan is oven-safe up to 450°F. This makes it suitable for most standard bread and cake recipes, including those that require high-heat starts for artisan-style crusts.

This is a 1.25-pound loaf pan with interior dimensions of 9 x 5 inches. It is perfectly sized for standard quick breads, yeast loaves, and pound cakes.
