Santa Cruz Bullit

The Bullit is a dedicated enduro and gravity e-bike built for aggressive, technical terrain. With 170mm of travel front and rear, it excels on steep, rough descents while the Bosch motor provides the power needed to climb back up for another lap.

The MX configuration—a 29-inch front wheel paired with a 27.5-inch rear wheel—is intentional. The larger front wheel helps you roll over obstacles and maintain momentum, while the smaller rear wheel keeps the bike agile and easier to maneuver through tight, technical sections.

The Bosch Performance Line CX is widely considered a benchmark for e-MTB motors, offering smooth, natural-feeling power delivery. It provides significant torque that makes steep, technical climbs feel manageable, allowing you to focus on line choice rather than just grinding out the ascent.

At 49.42 lbs, the Bullit is substantial, but that weight is a trade-off for its downhill stability and robust carbon frame. While it won't feel as flickable as a lightweight trail bike, the low center of gravity and long-travel suspension make it incredibly planted and confident when the trail gets rowdy.

Range varies significantly based on rider weight, terrain, elevation gain, and the assist mode you choose. Generally, you can expect a full day of aggressive riding, but if you stick to the higher power modes on steep climbs, you will deplete the battery faster than in eco-friendly modes.

The 170mm of travel is plush and forgiving, designed to soak up big hits and chatter on high-speed descents. It is tuned to be supportive enough that it doesn't feel like a wallowing couch on flatter sections, though it is definitely optimized for gravity-focused riding.
