While the wood retains its authentic character marks and textures from its history as 1800s tobacco barn planks, the surface is finished with a durable, dull catalyzed lacquer. This provides a smooth, protective layer that makes the table practical for daily use without hiding the wood's natural grain.

The table arrives with pre-drilled holes and all the necessary hardware included. You will need to attach the legs to the tabletop, which is a straightforward process that can typically be completed with basic household tools.

The dull catalyzed lacquer finish is designed to be durable and moisture-resistant, offering protection against everyday spills. However, as with any natural wood furniture, we recommend using coasters and placemats to ensure the longevity of the finish.

Because it is finished with a catalyzed lacquer, you do not need to oil or wax the wood. Simply wipe the surface clean with a soft, damp cloth as needed to keep it looking its best.
