While the wood retains its authentic, rustic character and history, the surface is finished with a durable, dull catalyzed lacquer. This provides a protective barrier that smooths out the texture while preserving the natural grain and unique imperfections of the reclaimed oak.

The catalyzed lacquer is a high-performance finish designed for heavy use. It is significantly more durable than standard wax or oil finishes, offering excellent resistance to water rings, heat, and everyday spills, making it ideal for a high-traffic dining area.

Because of the protective lacquer finish, you don't need special oils or waxes. Simply wipe the table down with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap if necessary, then dry it immediately to maintain the finish's integrity.

The limited lifetime warranty covers manufacturer defects related to the construction of the table, such as structural joinery or material failures. It does not cover normal wear and tear, wood movement due to humidity changes, or accidental damage.

Because each table is handcrafted from unique, 1800s reclaimed tobacco barn wood, no two pieces are identical. You should expect variations in grain patterns, knots, and color tones, which are inherent to the reclaimed Red Oak material.
