PAUL Components uses high-strength stainless steel Torx hardware because it is significantly more resistant to stripping than traditional hex heads. This ensures you can confidently tighten and adjust your stem over its lifespan without damaging the bolt heads.

A 7-degree angle is a versatile standard that allows you to run the stem in either a positive or negative rise orientation. This gives you the flexibility to fine-tune your cockpit height for either a more upright, comfortable position or a lower, more aerodynamic stance.

While the machined finish gives the Boxcar its signature look, it is also a byproduct of the precise CNC manufacturing process. This method removes material only where necessary, allowing for a high strength-to-weight ratio that cast or forged stems often struggle to match.
