Mavic Insta Drive 360 Freehub Body Kit

This kit is specifically designed for Mavic hubs utilizing the Insta Drive 360 system. Before purchasing, verify that your rear hub is indeed an ID360 model, as it will not fit older Mavic FTS-L or ITS-4 hub systems.

This specific body is compatible with Shimano HG (HyperGlide) cassettes. It is designed to accommodate both 11-speed and 12-speed Shimano HG mountain bike cassettes.

The Insta Drive 360 system is designed for relatively straightforward maintenance. If you have basic mechanical aptitude and the necessary cassette removal tools, you can typically perform the swap yourself, though a shop can handle it quickly if you are unsure.

Aluminum is used to keep the overall weight of the wheel system as low as possible without sacrificing structural integrity. It provides the necessary strength for power transfer while ensuring your wheelset remains lightweight for climbing and acceleration.

This kit includes the freehub body itself, but it does not typically include new bearings. If your current bearings are worn or gritty, it is highly recommended to replace them simultaneously to ensure the new freehub operates smoothly and lasts as long as possible.
