Yes, the chin bar uses a simple 3-step connection system that allows you to attach or remove it by hand in seconds. It is designed to be quick enough to switch between a full-face setup for downhill laps and an open-face configuration for climbing.

While standard MIPS uses a slip-plane liner inside the helmet, Spherical Technology uses a ball-and-socket design where the outer shell rotates around the inner liner. This allows the helmet to redirect impact forces more effectively while eliminating the friction and plastic feel of traditional liners.

The helmet features a large eye port specifically designed to accommodate goggles. The adjustable visor also pivots high enough to store your goggles underneath when you aren't wearing them.

With 25 vents and Bell's Overbrow Ventilation system, it is designed to pull cool air through the helmet's internal channels. While it is heavier than a dedicated trail helmet, it offers significantly better airflow than most full-face options.

The integrated mount is designed to be stable for recording, but it includes a breakaway feature. If you crash, the mount is engineered to snap off to prevent it from snagging or causing injury.

The Fidlock buckle uses a magnetic slide mechanism that snaps together automatically when brought close. It is much easier to operate with gloves on than a traditional plastic buckle and stays secure once locked.
