This board is designed for riders who want a mix of big mountain performance and freestyle playfulness. It excels in deep powder and technical backcountry terrain but remains snappy enough for creative riding across the entire resort.

Volume-shifted boards are designed to be ridden shorter than your standard snowboard. Because the board is wider, you get the same float and stability as a longer board, but with significantly improved maneuverability and quicker edge-to-edge transitions.

With a flex rating of 7/10, this board is on the stiffer side, which provides excellent stability and response at speed. While it is highly capable, it requires a confident rider who can handle a more precise, responsive board rather than a soft, forgiving beginner deck.

The C3 Camber profile is camber-dominant, which provides aggressive edge hold and stability. When paired with Gnu's Magne-Traction edge technology, this board delivers reliable grip even on icy or firm conditions where traditional boards might slip.

While it is a directional board with a significant setback, it is still capable of riding switch when necessary. However, it is optimized for forward-facing performance, so you will notice a different feel compared to a true twin board when riding backward.
