While the Optisym is built for park progression, its versatile Cam-Out Camber profile makes it capable of handling the rest of the mountain. It is a true freestyle deck, so it thrives on side hits, flatland tricks, and groomers, though it may feel a bit loose if you are charging hard in deep powder or steep, icy terrain.

The mid-wide width is primarily there to prevent toe and heel drag, especially if you have larger boots or like to carve deep. It provides a stable, solid platform for landing tricks and pressing rails, though it might feel slightly slower edge-to-edge compared to a narrower, traditional board.

It features an 'Urban' flex, which is on the softer, more playful side of the spectrum. This makes the board very forgiving and easy to press, perfect for jibbing and learning new tricks, but it won't have the aggressive stiffness needed for high-speed, big-mountain charging.
