Nitro Optisym Snowboard

The asymmetrical shape is designed to match the natural mechanics of your body. Because your heel-side turn is mechanically different from your toe-side turn, the board adjusts the sidecut to make heel-side carves feel more intuitive, stable, and easier to initiate.

It offers a balanced middle ground. While it provides the pop and responsiveness of traditional camber, the early rise in the tip and tail makes it more forgiving and less catchy than a fully cambered board, which is ideal for freestyle progression rather than pure high-speed charging.

The Optisym features Nitro's Railkiller edges, which are twice as thick as standard edges. This extra material is specifically engineered to withstand the repeated impacts and friction that come with sliding rails and boxes.

The mid-wide platform provides a stable base and helps prevent toe or heel drag, especially if you have larger boots. While it might feel slightly slower edge-to-edge than a narrow board, the dual degressive sidecut keeps the board feeling loose and playful, so it remains easy to maneuver.

These sidewalls act as a dampening system. They are made from a polyurethane material that absorbs vibrations and impacts, making the ride smoother on choppy snow and protecting the board's core when you're hitting rails or hard landings.
