The planter is designed for both indoor and outdoor environments, but like all natural wood products, it will weather over time if left exposed to the elements. To extend its lifespan and maintain the finish, we suggest placing it in a covered patio or porch area rather than direct, prolonged exposure to rain.

The galvanized tin liner does not come pre-drilled with drainage holes. If you plan to plant directly into the vessel, you may want to drill holes in the bottom of the liner or use a layer of gravel at the base to assist with drainage.
