Yes, ceiling height is a factor. These speakers rely on reflecting sound off the ceiling to create the Atmos effect, so they work best with flat, reflective ceilings between 7 and 12 feet high. Vaulted or heavily textured ceilings may diffuse the sound and reduce the effectiveness of the height immersion.
