While the Silver 300 7G is a floorstanding speaker, its rigid cabinet design helps control resonance, which prevents the sound from becoming muddy in smaller spaces. However, with dual 6-inch bass drivers, you should ensure you have enough room to place them at least a few inches away from walls to avoid an overly boomy low end.

The manufacturer recommends an amplifier output between 80 and 200 watts per channel. Because these speakers have a sensitivity of 87.5 dB, they perform best with an amplifier that has enough headroom to handle dynamic musical peaks without clipping.

The magnetic grilles are designed to be acoustically transparent, meaning they shouldn't negatively impact the sound. You can leave them on for a cleaner, modern aesthetic or remove them if you prefer the look of the exposed drivers without worrying about audio degradation.
