Prometheus Hopup Bucking Nub

A flat hop-up nub creates a larger, more consistent contact patch with the BB compared to standard round nubs. This helps stabilize the backspin, leading to improved accuracy and range for your shots.

Different rubber densities allow you to fine-tune your hop-up performance based on your rifle's FPS and the weight of the BBs you are using. Generally, use the softer nub for lower FPS setups and the medium nub for higher velocity builds.

These nubs are designed for standard Tokyo Marui-style hop-up units, which includes most G&P, Matrix, and other compatible systems. If your rifle uses a proprietary hop-up chamber, you may need to verify compatibility before installing.

While you can use these with a standard bucking, they work best when paired with a flat-hop bucking that lacks an internal mound. If you use a standard bucking, you may need to modify it by removing the internal ridge to achieve a true flat-hop effect.

Start with the soft nub if you are shooting lighter BBs or have a lower FPS rifle, as it provides a gentler grip. If you find you need to apply excessive hop-up pressure to get the desired lift, switch to the medium nub for a firmer, more consistent engagement.
