Prometheus Hopup Bucking Nub

A flat-type nub creates a larger, more uniform contact patch against your BB compared to traditional rounded nubs. This increased surface area provides more consistent backspin, which generally leads to better accuracy and range.

The soft nub is typically better for lower FPS builds or lighter BBs, as it provides a gentler, more forgiving grip. The medium nub is better suited for higher FPS setups or heavier BBs that require more pressure to achieve the desired hop effect.

This nub is designed to be compatible with Tokyo Marui, G&P, Matrix, and most standard-spec hop-up units. If your rifle uses a proprietary or non-standard hop-up chamber, you may need to modify the nub or the arm to ensure a proper fit.

While you can use this with a standard bucking, you will see the best results if you pair it with a flat-hop bucking that lacks the internal mound. Using a standard bucking with a flat nub can sometimes cause uneven pressure if the internal mound isn't removed.

It is a straightforward modification, but it does require disassembling your hop-up unit. If you are comfortable taking apart your hop-up chamber to clean or replace your bucking, you should have no trouble installing this.
