DPS Carbon Kaizen

It is a versatile all-mountain ski that leans heavily toward soft snow and technical terrain. While the 100mm waist handles groomed runs well, its design—featuring a rockered tip and a tight 15m turn radius—is optimized for navigating trees, moguls, and off-piste conditions.

The carbon fiber laminate, paired with an ash and poplar core, creates a ride that feels both damp and energetic. It absorbs vibrations from crud and chop without feeling dead, providing a snappy, responsive rebound that helps you initiate turns quickly.

The turn radius is quite tight for a ski of this width, which makes it exceptionally nimble in tight spaces like glades. However, the construction is designed to remain stable in variable conditions, so while it prefers quick, intuitive turns over long, high-speed GS arcs, it won't feel unstable when you open it up.

The Carbon Kaizen is best suited for experienced skiers who have the technique to leverage its responsive, energetic nature. Its precise handling and technical construction are designed to reward skiers who know how to drive a ski through variable terrain.

The rockered tip provides excellent float in fresh snow and helps initiate turns effortlessly. On hardpack, you will notice the effective edge is shorter than a traditional cambered ski, so while it holds an edge reliably, it is not designed to be a dedicated carving ski.
