DPS Carbon Kaizen

While the Kaizen 100 is capable on corduroy, it is designed primarily for off-piste versatility. If you strictly ski groomed runs, you might find the 100mm waist and rockered tip less precise than a dedicated carving ski.

The 15m radius is relatively tight for a ski of this width, which makes it exceptionally quick edge-to-edge. This geometry allows you to navigate tight trees and technical chutes with ease, rather than forcing you into long, drawn-out turns.

The carbon laminate provides significant energy and stability, but the ash and poplar wood core balances that stiffness with a natural, damp feel. It is a high-performance ski, so it rewards an active, advanced skier, but it avoids the harsh, chattery ride often associated with pure carbon builds.

With a 100mm waist and a large rockered tip, it offers excellent float in soft snow and deep powder. However, if you live in an area with consistently deep, bottomless snow, you might prefer a wider ski for maximum flotation.

This ski is built for advanced to expert skiers who want one pair of skis to handle everything from steep, technical terrain to variable crud. It is best suited for someone who values maneuverability and responsiveness over pure straight-line speed.
