RaceGuard uses a double layer of nylon fabric to provide robust protection against debris like glass or thorns. While it is highly effective for daily urban commuting, it is not as impenetrable as Schwalbe’s heavy-duty touring liners, which helps keep the tire lightweight and fast.

This tire is specifically sized for 16x1-1/4 wheels with an ISO 349 bead diameter. It will not fit standard 16-inch wheels with a 305 ISO diameter, so please verify your rim size before purchasing.

Wire bead tires are generally stiffer and slightly more challenging to mount than folding tires. You may need a tire lever to seat the final section of the bead onto the rim, but the wire construction ensures a secure, consistent fit once inflated.
