The Kojak is designed primarily for dry, paved surfaces. While the SpeedGrip compound offers decent traction, its slick, treadless design lacks the channels needed to evacuate water effectively, so you should exercise extra caution on wet or slick roads.

RaceGuard uses a double layer of nylon fabric that provides a solid defense against common urban debris like glass shards and small thorns. It is designed to balance puncture resistance with a lightweight, supple feel, making it ideal for city commuting rather than heavy-duty touring.

The Kojak is a 700c tire with a 35mm width, which is wider than a typical racing tire. Before purchasing, verify that your frame and fork have enough clearance to accommodate a 35mm tire, as some road bike frames are limited to 28mm or 30mm widths.

The checkered pattern on the shoulders is specifically engineered to resist abrasions and cuts. It adds a layer of durability where the tire is most likely to rub against curbs or debris while cornering.

The folding bead makes the tire more compact and lighter than a wire-bead version, but installation is generally straightforward. Because it is a clincher tire, it should seat easily on most standard rims using standard tire levers.
