Futures AM2 Techflex Thruster Fin

The AM2 template is designed for high-performance surfing. Because of its stiff construction and the smaller center fin, it excels when you want to push hard through turns and need quick, responsive tail release for tighter maneuvers.

The smaller center fin reduces drag and loosens up the tail of your board. This makes it significantly easier to pivot and initiate turns, allowing for more dynamic, snappy surfing compared to a standard thruster setup with three equal-sized fins.

These fins are compatible with any surfboard equipped with the Futures fin system. They are specifically designed for shortboards, so ensure your board has the corresponding Futures boxes before purchasing.

Techflex is a stiff, lightweight material that minimizes flex. This stiffness provides immediate energy transfer and speed, making the fins feel very reliable and predictable when you are driving through high-speed sections or carving aggressive lines.

While these are high-performance fins, they are generally better suited for intermediate to advanced surfers. The stiffness and responsiveness of the Techflex material require a certain level of board control to manage effectively, whereas beginners often benefit from more forgiving, flexible fins.
