Spa Frog Cartridge Kit

The mineral cartridge is designed to last for four months, which aligns with standard spa drain and refill cycles. The bromine cartridges are smaller and typically need replacement every two to four weeks, depending on your spa's usage frequency.

This kit is specifically designed for use with Spa Frog floating dispenser systems. It will not function correctly if you do not have the compatible floating housing unit.

While the mineral and bromine combination significantly reduces the need for manual dosing and constant monitoring, you will still need to test your water regularly and perform occasional shock treatments to maintain proper balance and sanitation.

Minerals help control bacteria and inhibit algae growth, which allows you to use a lower level of bromine than you would with a traditional chemical-only system. This combination results in water that feels softer and is less harsh on your skin and eyes.

You can switch to the Spa Frog system, but you should first drain and clean your spa to remove any residual chemicals from your previous system. Starting with fresh water ensures the mineral and bromine cartridges can work effectively without interference.
