Blizzard Sheeva

While the Sheeva is built as a freeride ski, its 96mm waist and full sidewall construction make it surprisingly capable on hardpack. It will hold an edge well on groomers, though it is designed to be most at home when you take it off-piste into variable snow or powder.

The metal frame is strategically placed to provide stability and dampness underfoot without making the entire ski feel heavy or sluggish. It gives you the confidence to charge at higher speeds and carve through crud, while the lighter wood core in the tip and tail keeps the ski nimble enough for tight turns.

The Sheeva is best suited for advanced to expert skiers who want a 'daily driver' that can handle everything from icy mornings to soft afternoon powder. If you are an intermediate skier looking to progress, you might find the stiffness and performance-oriented construction a bit demanding.

The rocker in the tip and tail provides excellent float, allowing the ski to plane on top of deep snow rather than sinking. The camber underfoot ensures you still have the necessary grip and energy return when you transition back onto firmer, packed snow.

At 3530g, this is a resort-focused ski rather than a dedicated touring setup. While you could mount a hybrid binding on it for the occasional side-country hike, it is primarily designed for lift-served terrain and will feel heavy on long uphill climbs.
