The Candle Clip-on fitter is designed for smaller accent lamps or chandelier bulbs, while the Spider (Washer) fitter is the standard choice for floor and table lamps that use a harp and finial system. Check your current lamp base to see if it has a harp; if it does, you need the Spider fitter.

Because of the delicate linen and cotton construction and the intricate pleating, this shade is dry clean only. We recommend using a soft brush or a gentle vacuum attachment regularly to remove dust and prevent buildup.

Each lampshade is handcrafted to order, so slight variations in the pattern placement are normal and part of the artisanal process. This ensures that every piece has a unique character while maintaining the overall aesthetic of the botanical design.

The box pleats add significant texture and depth to the shade, which creates a more diffused, softer glow compared to a smooth drum shade. When illuminated, the pleats cast subtle shadows that enhance the visual interest of the botanical print.

We generally advise against placing these linen and cotton shades in high-humidity environments. Moisture can affect the fabric's tension and the integrity of the pleats over time.
