The linen-cotton blend is a medium-weight fabric that strikes a balance between opacity and translucency. It softens the bulb's harshness to create a warm, diffused glow while allowing enough light through to illuminate the intricate botanical pattern.

Because of the delicate box pleats and the natural fiber blend, this shade should be dry cleaned only. Avoid using water or household cleaners, as these can damage the fabric structure or cause the pleats to lose their crisp definition.

Each shade is handcrafted in Knoxville, Tennessee, meaning slight variations in the botanical pattern placement are normal and part of the artisanal process. This ensures that every piece is unique rather than mass-produced.

Like any textured lampshade, the pleats can accumulate dust over time. We recommend using a soft-bristled brush or a can of compressed air periodically to gently remove debris from the folds without disturbing the shape of the pleats.
