The Spider fitter, also known as a washer fitter, rests on top of a lamp harp and is secured by a finial. The Candle Clip-on fitter is designed to clip directly onto a candelabra-style bulb, making it ideal for smaller accent lamps or chandeliers.

Check your existing lamp to see how the current shade attaches. If it sits on a metal wire frame (harp) and is held down by a screw-on finial, you need a Spider fitter. If the shade attaches directly to the lightbulb itself, you need the Candle Clip-on.

The fabric is designed to be translucent, allowing a soft, warm glow to diffuse through the shade when the lamp is turned on. It provides enough coverage to hide the bulb while creating a cozy, ambient light.

Because of the delicate pleating and fabric construction, this lampshade is dry clean only. To maintain its appearance, you can gently dust it with a soft brush or a microfiber cloth to prevent buildup.
