Earthway Bag Seeder/ Spreader

This bag spreader is best suited for smaller lawns, spot-treating specific patches, or navigating tight spaces where a wheeled spreader would be cumbersome. For large, open turf areas, a broadcast or drop spreader on wheels will be significantly more efficient.

Because it uses a manual crank, you have direct control over the distribution. The speed at which you turn the handle determines the width of the spread, allowing you to adjust on the fly as you walk.

While it is designed primarily for grass seed and fertilizer, it can handle free-flowing granular materials. Avoid using it for damp, clumpy, or very heavy materials, as these can clog the mechanism or make the bag uncomfortable to carry.

The lightweight nylon construction is designed for portability, but it is intended for shorter tasks rather than all-day use. If you are covering a large area, you may find the weight of the material inside the bag becomes noticeable on your shoulder over time.

The unit arrives largely pre-assembled. You will typically only need to attach the handle and ensure the crank mechanism is properly seated before you can begin filling and spreading.
