Being triple-rated means the rope is certified for use as a single, half, or twin rope. This gives you the flexibility to use it as a standard single rope for sport climbing, or paired with another rope for complex alpine or trad routes where you need to manage rope drag or protect against sharp edges.

Unicore technology bonds the rope's core to its sheath. If the sheath is cut or damaged, it won't slide or bunch up, which allows you to still rappel or ascend past the damaged section safely rather than being stranded.

While 9.1mm is lightweight and handles beautifully, it is quite thin, which means it will feed through belay devices very quickly. If you are new to belaying or primarily climbing in the gym, you will need to be extra attentive and use a belay device rated for thinner diameters.

The Dry Cover treatment is applied to the sheath to help repel water and dirt. This prevents the rope from becoming heavy or freezing when climbing in wet conditions and helps extend the life of the rope by keeping grit out of the fibers.

A lower impact force of 8.2 kN means the rope absorbs more energy during a fall, resulting in a softer catch. This is particularly beneficial for the climber, as it reduces the force transferred to your gear and your body during a fall.

Because it is a thin, performance-oriented rope, it will show signs of wear faster than a thicker, heavy-duty gym rope. If you are projecting routes that involve frequent falls, expect a shorter lifespan compared to a 9.8mm or 10mm rope.
