Unicore technology bonds the sheath and the core of the rope together. If the sheath is cut or damaged during a climb, it won't slide or bunch up, which allows you to still pass the damaged section through a belay device or carabiner to reach safety.

While 9.1mm is on the thinner side, which makes it excellent for weight savings and handling, it will wear out faster than a thicker, 10mm+ rope. It is best suited for experienced climbers who prioritize performance and weight over maximum longevity.

The Dry Cover treatment significantly increases water resistance by protecting the sheath fibers, but it does not make the rope entirely waterproof. It is highly effective at preventing the rope from absorbing moisture and freezing during alpine or ice climbing, but it should still be kept as dry as possible.

The 'Soft' construction makes the rope more supple and flexible compared to stiffer ropes. This makes it easier to feed through belay devices, reduces drag on wandering routes, and generally feels less bulky when you are managing rope slack.

This rope is generally better suited for intermediate to advanced climbers. Its thin 9.1mm diameter requires a more experienced belayer who is comfortable managing thinner ropes, and its specialized design is optimized for technical alpine and trad objectives rather than high-volume gym climbing.
