Oury Mountain Grips

These grips are designed for standard 22.2mm diameter flat handlebars, which covers the vast majority of mountain bike bars. They will not fit drop bars or oversized bar diameters.

Since these are non-locking, slip-on grips, you will need to slide them onto your bars. Using a small amount of compressed air or a light application of hairspray or rubbing alcohol can help them slide on easily and then tack up to prevent twisting once dry.

While they are designed to fit snugly, some riders prefer to use a small amount of grip glue or hairspray to ensure they stay perfectly secure during aggressive riding. Safety wire is generally not necessary if the grips are installed correctly on clean bars.

The signature raised square block pattern is specifically designed to provide extra surface area for your hands to grip, which helps with vibration dampening. This texture is generally very effective at reducing hand fatigue on rough terrain compared to smoother grip designs.

Yes, the sticky rubber compound and the deep square block pattern are excellent in wet conditions. The pattern channels moisture away from your palms, helping you maintain a secure hold even when things get muddy.
