The frame is handbuilt in Italy using a proprietary filament winding process. This technique allows for precise control over carbon fiber placement, resulting in an optimal balance of strength, stiffness, and weight that traditional layup methods often cannot match.

The Racemax Italia offers a generous maximum tire clearance of 61mm. This gives you significant flexibility to run everything from fast, narrow tires for tarmac to wide, knobby rubber for technical gravel and loose terrain.

While the fully integrated carbon cockpit creates a clean aesthetic and improves aerodynamics, it does require a bit more patience for cable routing and adjustments compared to a standard bar and stem setup. It is a trade-off for the streamlined performance and clean look.

The Racemax Italia is primarily designed as a high-performance gravel race bike, and it does not include rack mounts. If you are looking for a dedicated adventure rig with extensive mounting points for racks and bags, you might find other models in the 3T lineup better suited for that purpose.

The GRX Di2 electronic shifting is specifically tuned for gravel, offering precise, reliable gear changes even when the bike is bouncing over washboard surfaces or mud. The 2x12 configuration provides a wide gear range that helps you maintain an efficient cadence on both steep climbs and fast descents.
