Maxxis Welter Weight Tube

The Maxxis Welter Weight tube is designed for 700c tires ranging from 33mm to 50mm in width. It is an excellent choice for most gravel and wider road setups within that range.

The removable core allows you to easily inject tire sealant directly into the tube. This is a great way to add an extra layer of puncture protection without needing to switch to a tubeless setup.

At 0.9mm, this tube strikes a balance between durability and weight. It is thicker than ultralight racing tubes, providing better puncture resistance for everyday riding without feeling sluggish or overly heavy.

This tube features a 48mm Presta valve. It is generally suitable for standard rim depths, but you should measure your rim profile to ensure the valve stem will protrude enough for your pump head to attach securely.

This tube is constructed from butyl rubber. Butyl is the industry standard for bicycle tubes because it holds air pressure reliably over time and is easy to patch if you do get a flat.
