RockShox Metric Spring

This is a metric-sized coil spring designed specifically for RockShox metric shocks. You must match the spring's travel range of 37.5-45 mm and the 300 lb spring rate to your shock's stroke length and your personal weight requirements to ensure proper sag and performance.

The spring rate determines how much force is required to compress the spring. A 300 lb rating is generally suited for lighter riders or those seeking a more supple, active feel; if you find you are bottoming out too easily, you may need a higher spring rate.

Installing a coil spring is straightforward if you have the correct shock pump and basic tools to remove the shock from your bike. However, ensure you have the proper spring compressor or the ability to unload the preload collar completely before attempting the swap.

The vibrant finish is primarily for aesthetics and easy identification of the spring rate. While it is durable, its main function is to help you quickly distinguish this specific spring from others in your workshop.
