RockShox Fork Service Kit

This kit is specifically engineered for the RockShox Yari SA A1 model. Before purchasing, verify your fork's specific model year and air spring type, as RockShox service kits are highly model-specific and not interchangeable between different fork versions.

This package contains the essential wear items needed for a standard lower leg service: dust seals, foam rings, and the necessary O-rings. It does not include suspension fluid or specialized tools required to perform the service.

RockShox generally recommends performing a lower leg service every 50 hours of ride time to maintain peak performance. If you ride in particularly muddy or dusty conditions, you may want to service your fork more frequently to prevent premature wear on the stanchions.

If you are comfortable with basic bike maintenance and have the correct tools—such as a seal driver, pick set, and the appropriate suspension oil—this is a manageable task for a home mechanic. If you are unsure about the process or lack the specific tools, a professional shop visit is recommended to avoid damaging the fork internals.

Foam rings are designed to hold suspension oil and keep the stanchions lubricated as they move through the seals. Over time, they become dirty and lose their ability to hold oil, which increases friction and can lead to stanchion wear; replacing them ensures your fork remains supple and responsive.
