SRAM Level TLM V2

This lever is designed for use with SRAM hydraulic disc brake systems. It is generally compatible with other SRAM Level calipers, but you should verify your specific hose connection type—either threaded or banjo—to ensure a proper fit.

The lever is typically sold as a component and will require a full system bleed after installation. You will need a SRAM bleed kit and DOT 5.1 fluid to ensure there is no air in the line for consistent braking performance.

The TLM V2 sits in the middle of the range, offering a balance between weight and performance. It uses a similar architecture to the top-tier Ultimate but swaps out some of the more expensive materials, making it a practical choice for riders who want high-end modulation without the premium price tag.

While the Level TLM V2 is highly capable and reliable, it is primarily engineered for cross-country and trail riding. If you frequently ride steep, sustained descents, you might prefer the SRAM Code series, which offers more power and heat management for heavier-duty applications.

You will need a standard T25 Torx wrench to secure the lever clamp to your handlebar. If you are also replacing the brake line, you will need a tubing cutter and a bleed kit to finalize the setup.
