DoubleDown refers to a dual-ply, 120 TPI casing that provides significantly more sidewall support and puncture protection than standard trail casings. It is designed for aggressive enduro riding where you need extra durability against sharp rocks and impacts without the extreme weight of a full downhill tire.

This tire is a 27.5-inch model with a 584 mm bead seat diameter, designed for rims with an internal width of 30 to 35 mm. It is a tubeless-ready clincher, so ensure your rims are compatible with tubeless setups for the best performance.

The 3C Maxx Terra compound uses a softer rubber formulation than standard tires, which provides superior grip and traction on technical terrain. It strikes a balance between the high-speed rolling efficiency needed for trail riding and the durability required for enduro racing.

Because of its weight and reinforced casing, it is best suited for aggressive trail and enduro riding. If your rides involve long, flat pedaling sections, you might find it slightly heavier and slower rolling than a lighter, cross-country-focused tire.
