The canvas material is designed to absorb excess water as you crush the ice, resulting in a drier, higher-quality texture that won't immediately dilute your cocktail. Plastic crushers often produce wet, slushy ice that melts too quickly.

The heavy hardwood mallet is weighted specifically to make the process efficient. You only need a few firm strikes to break down standard ice cubes into the ideal consistency for juleps and smashes.

After use, hang the bag to air dry completely to prevent mildew. If it becomes soiled, you can hand wash it with mild soap and warm water, then let it air dry thoroughly before storing.

The bag measures 7.25 inches by 12 inches, which is sized for crafting a few cocktails at a time. It is best suited for home use rather than high-volume service.
