ENVE Foundation Disc Wheelset

The ENVE Foundation wheels feature a hookless bead design, which is optimized specifically for tubeless-ready tires. While you can run them with a tubeless setup, they are not designed for traditional clincher tires with inner tubes.

The Wide Hookless Bead is engineered to provide superior impact protection against potholes and road debris. By creating a wider surface area at the rim edge, it significantly reduces the likelihood of pinch flats, allowing you to ride with more confidence on rougher roads.

The Foundation Road Hub is designed to offer high-performance reliability at a more accessible price point. It utilizes premium sealed bearings and the ID360 40t drive mechanism, delivering responsive power transfer and smooth engagement that rivals many top-tier hub systems.

These wheels are optimized for tubeless tires that are 25mm wide or greater. This width range ensures the best aerodynamic performance and handling characteristics when paired with the rim profile.

ENVE’s Lifetime Incident Protection covers damage to your wheels that occurs while riding, such as impacts from potholes or crashes. It provides peace of mind by offering a replacement or repair if your wheels are damaged during normal use.

While the Foundation series is primarily designed for road performance, the tubeless compatibility and impact-resistant hookless design make them capable of handling light gravel or less-traveled roads. However, they are not intended for aggressive, dedicated gravel racing.
