The Ultraz version uses a dual-layer twinDeck construction with ThermoShell fabric, providing significantly more insulation and weather protection than the standard GT model. They are specifically designed for extreme, sub-zero conditions where standard booties would fall short.

While they feature a DWR treatment and a PU-bonded membrane to repel water, they are primarily designed for thermal insulation in cold, stormy weather. They will handle light rain and road spray well, but they are not fully waterproof rubber overshoes.

The zeroCuff is a raw-cut edge at the top of the bootie that eliminates the bulky hem found on traditional covers. This creates a seamless transition against your leg, which improves aerodynamics and prevents the fabric from bunching up under your bib tights.

Yes. Despite the heavy insulation, the ThermoShell fabric includes a perforated circular knit face that allows moisture vapor to escape. This helps prevent your feet from overheating or getting clammy during hard efforts.

These booties utilize a reverse camlock zipper, which is designed to stay securely in place once zipped. Because the fit is intentionally snug for performance, we recommend putting the booties on before your cycling shoes if you find them difficult to stretch over the heel.
