Oru Spray Skirt

This spray skirt is specifically custom-designed to fit the cockpits of the Oru Bay and Coast series kayaks. It will not provide a proper seal on other kayak brands or models.

This skirt offers moderate weather protection, making it ideal for mild to moderate paddling conditions. While it features a secure tension bungee and sealed seams to keep water out, it is not intended for extreme whitewater or heavy surf environments.

Yes, the skirt includes an adjustable Velcro neoprene waistband. This allows you to tighten or loosen the fit around your torso to ensure comfort and prevent water from entering through the waist.

Safety is a priority in this design, which features a large, highly visible front grab loop. This allows for quick and easy removal of the skirt from the cockpit coaming whenever you need to exit the kayak.

To extend the life of your spray skirt, rinse it with fresh water after every use, especially if you have been paddling in saltwater. Allow it to air dry completely in a shaded area before storing it, as direct sunlight can degrade neoprene over time.
