The handles on the Primal Bells are slightly enlarged compared to traditional kettlebells. This design is intentional, as it helps improve your grip strength and forearm endurance during high-repetition movements like swings and snatches.

These bells are cast from high-quality, chip-resistant iron designed to withstand heavy impact. While no painted kettlebell is completely immune to wear over years of use, the finish is significantly more durable than standard consumer-grade weights.

Yes. Despite their unique aesthetic, the Primal Bells are engineered with the same center of gravity as professional-grade kettlebells. They are perfectly balanced for all standard lifts, including cleans, snatches, and Turkish get-ups.

The durable iron construction makes them suitable for outdoor use, but keep in mind that prolonged exposure to moisture can lead to rust. If you train outside, we recommend wiping them down after use and storing them in a dry area.
