Multi-pelleted seeds are coated in a clay-like material to make them larger and easier to handle during sowing. Each pellet typically contains multiple seeds, which helps ensure a fuller, more uniform look when they sprout in your containers.

It is critical. Because these are multi-pelleted seeds, the coating must break down properly for the seeds to germinate; if the soil is too dry, the pellet won't dissolve, but if it is too wet, it can rot. Keep the soil consistently moist but never waterlogged during the 10-14 day germination period.

While they are excellent for containers and hanging baskets due to their compact, ball-shaped habit, they also work beautifully as a border plant. Just ensure the soil is well-draining and that you can maintain the necessary moisture levels.

Once germinated, these plants prefer cooler nights to thrive. Aim for daytime temperatures between 65-70°F and nighttime temperatures between 55-60°F to maintain their compact, vigorous growth.

Since each plant has a spread of approximately 8 inches, you should space them about 8 inches apart if you are planting them in a garden bed. For containers, you can plant them slightly closer if you want a dense, overflowing floral display.
