The purifier uses a catalytic filter that continuously destroys formaldehyde at a molecular level. Unlike standard carbon filters that can become saturated, this filter does not need to be replaced for this specific function.

Under typical usage conditions, the combined HEPA and activated carbon filter should be replaced once every 12 months. The device will alert you via the LCD screen or the mobile app when it is time for a replacement.

While it is a powerful air purifier, it functions primarily as a bladeless fan rather than an air conditioner. It provides a cooling sensation through airflow and 350-degree oscillation, which helps circulate purified air throughout the entire room.

Setup is straightforward using the Dyson mobile app, which guides you through connecting the device to your home Wi-Fi. Once connected, it is compatible with major voice assistants for hands-free control.

The unit stands 41.3 inches tall and weighs 10.8 pounds. Its slim, tower-style design is intended to fit unobtrusively in corners or along walls while still providing wide-reaching air circulation.
