The piece features a 3.75-inch by 3.75-inch wax seal centered within a 12-inch by 12-inch frame. This creates a significant amount of negative space, which emphasizes the delicate, three-dimensional nature of the wax seal.

The frame features a distressed white finish, meaning it is intentionally crafted to look aged and worn. You should expect slight variations in the distressing, which adds to the vintage, one-of-a-kind character of the piece.

Because the piece is enclosed in a shadowbox with museum-quality glass, it is well-protected. Simply dust the exterior of the glass with a soft, lint-free cloth as needed; avoid using harsh chemical cleaners directly on the frame or glass.

While the artwork is designed to be hung in a landscape orientation, the square shape and symmetrical design allow for flexibility. However, please note that the included hardware is specifically positioned for landscape display.

The frame has a depth of 1.5 inches. This depth provides enough space for the wax seal to sit behind the glass without touching it, creating the intended three-dimensional effect.
