Black Chili is Continental's proprietary rubber compound designed to balance rolling resistance and grip. It allows the tire to roll efficiently on straightaways while maintaining traction during aggressive cornering.

While these are tubeless-ready (TR) tires, they can be used with inner tubes if you prefer. However, you will get the best performance and vibration damping benefits by running them as a tubeless setup.
