The R3 is Tubeless Ready, meaning it is optimized for a tubeless setup to reduce rolling resistance and puncture risk. However, it is fully compatible with standard inner tubes if you prefer a traditional setup.

The Hard-Case Lite uses a Nylon105 breaker belt that is designed to be lightweight and flexible. Unlike heavier, stiffer puncture protection layers, it maintains a supple ride feel and doesn't make the tire feel sluggish or harsh on the road.
