The Mini-5 offers high-level security thanks to its 13mm hardened steel shackle and disc-style cylinder. While its smaller dimensions limit the types of objects you can lock your bike to, the compact size makes it harder for thieves to use leverage tools like bolt cutters or jacks against the lock itself.

The internal shackle dimensions are 3.25” x 5.5”. It is designed for standard bike frames and is best suited for locking your frame and one wheel to a post or bike rack. If you have an oversized frame or need to lock multiple components, you may want to consider a larger model.

The included FlexFrame-U mount attaches to your bike frame, allowing you to carry the lock securely while riding. It is adjustable, so you can position the lock in various spots on your frame to ensure it doesn't interfere with your pedaling.

The anti-rattle bumpers are small, durable pads on the shackle that prevent the lock from clanking against your bike frame while you ride. They keep your commute quiet and help protect your bike's paint finish from scratches.

Kryptonite offers a Key Safe Program where you can register your key number online immediately after purchase. If you lose your keys, they can ship replacements directly to you, saving you from having to replace the entire lock.
