Not at all. Because these wheels use standard J-bend spokes and share the same architecture as the higher-end Terra CL models, any qualified bike shop can easily source parts and perform repairs without needing proprietary tools or specialized components.

While they are optimized for tubeless performance, they are tubeless-compatible clincher rims. You can absolutely run them with standard inner tubes if you prefer, though you will need to ensure your tire choice is compatible with the rim bed.

The Terra C wheelset is built with DT Swiss 370 hubs featuring the Ratchet LN system. This is a proven, reliable engagement mechanism that is easy to maintain and offers a solid, consistent feel under power.

The wheelset comes ready to set up tubeless right out of the box. You will receive the pre-installed tubeless rim tape, the necessary tubeless valves, and a small kit of spare parts to get you rolling.
