This collar is CNC-machined from aluminum and is designed for standard metal frames. We generally recommend using the specific clamp provided by your carbon frame manufacturer to avoid potential damage to the carbon structure.

The 14mm height offers a clean, minimalist aesthetic that keeps the seat tube area uncluttered. It is particularly useful if you have limited space on your seat tube or prefer a streamlined look over bulkier quick-release clamps.

While we don't specify a torque setting, we recommend using a torque wrench to tighten the bolt to the manufacturer's suggested limit for your specific frame material. Avoid over-tightening, as this can strip the threads or damage the clamp.

Most Soma frames require the 29.8mm size, while their stainless steel models typically use the 28.6mm size. Always double-check your specific frame model's requirements before ordering to ensure compatibility.
