eVent Compression Dry Sack

The eVent fabric base is waterproof but air-permeable. This allows trapped air to escape when you compress the sack, while still preventing water from entering, effectively eliminating the need for a mechanical purge valve.

It features a waterproof 70D nylon body and a secure roll-top closure, providing an IPX7 rating. While it is highly weather-resistant and excellent for keeping gear dry in rain or during paddle sports, it is not designed for prolonged submersion.

The 5-liter capacity is compact and ideal for smaller, compressible items like a down jacket, a base layer set, or a lightweight sleeping bag liner. It is best suited for organizing smaller essentials rather than bulky sleeping bags or tents.

To create a reliable seal, fold the top edge over the stiffening strip at least three times before buckling the straps. This ensures the closure remains tight and prevents moisture from creeping inside.

It is designed for both. The durable 70D nylon fabric and secure roll-top closure make it robust enough for the wet environments of kayaking and canoeing, as well as the rugged conditions of backpacking.
